Bar Ella
A wine bar in Noordwijk where good wine doesn't have to be complicated. Wine, Food, Music: small plates, a serious wine list, vinyl and above all a place where anyone can easily pull up a chair.

Challenge
We were involved before there was even a name on the facade. So the question was bigger than just an identity: a complete bar had to come to life, from name and look to website, menus, content and the way events are put out there.
Creative direction
Ella had to feel warm, Mediterranean and approachable, without becoming a classic wine bar. The coral-like mark and the bold orange give the place its own face. We chose that colour for a practical reason too: among all the red and green facade lights on De Grent, orange stands out straight away. Wine, Food, Music then runs through everything, from the menu and wine pairings to the vinyl nights. Outside we designed the facade signage and the custom-made fence with back panel, so the terrace is just as much Ella as the bar inside.

Really involved with the place. What's great is that we hardly have to look after it ourselves, and the content looks professional. In short: we're very happy!
