Hospitality and food photographer in Noordwijk and LeidenPhotography

Food photography, interiors, people and the evening itself. Imagery that matches your place, shot during service.

How we shoot

A hospitality photographer, whether you call it restaurant photography or food photography, has to be able to do two things: make a plate look delicious, and be there when the pass is full. That's when it happens. We come from the kitchen and from behind the bar ourselves. We know the moments worth capturing and move with the rhythm of the place, without getting in the way.

We shoot wider than the dish. The chef's hands, the first guests at six, the bar at eleven, the terrace in the morning sun. After one session you have an image bank that keeps you going for months, for Instagram, your website, the menu and the press.

We photograph food on location, in your kitchen, with your plates and your light. No studio, no stylist with a spray can. What's in the photo is what the guest gets. That's why it works.

We photograph for restaurants, bars, beach clubs, hotels, coffee roasters and the brands around them. Mostly in Noordwijk, the Bollenstreek and Leiden, but for a good project we're happy to travel further.

How it works

  1. 1

    Short intake

What's going on: new menu, new terrace, new team, an opening. We build the shot list from that, so we don't miss anything you need.

  2. 2

    A session in your place

We work around your team. The kitchen just keeps going, we shoot along. Usually around prep and the first service, when the light is best and the energy is real.

  3. 3

    Ready within a week

Selected and edited, cropped for social, website and print. You get the images in an online gallery, ready to use.

Photography in practice

Students and colleagues always feel at ease quickly. That gives natural, authentic photos and videos.

Questions we get

What does a hospitality photographer cost?
A photography session starts at €750 excl. VAT, including selection and editing, usually 80 to 100 images. You get one fixed price up front, with no surprises afterwards. If you want new imagery every season, the content subscription from €215 a month is the smartest route, over €100 per shoot cheaper than booking separately.
Do I have to close the kitchen for the shoot?
No. We shoot during prep and service, that's when it happens. Only for food photography do we ask the chef to plate a few dishes at a quiet moment.
Who's in the photos?
Your own team and your own guests, with permission. No models, no stock. That's exactly why the imagery works.
How many photos do I get?
From one session usually between eighty and a hundred edited images, depending on what we shoot. Better a hundred good ones than three hundred nearly-good ones.
Do you do video too?
Yes, as an add-on, usually on the same day, with our regular videographer. Photo and reels in one session, so you only have to disturb your team once.
Do you only do hospitality and lifestyle?
No. Hospitality is where we come from and what you see most in our work, but we're just as happy working for the brands and places around it: a florist, a school, a coffee roaster, a municipality. If you have a place, a product or a spot people love to go, we get you. A corporate identity with an annual report isn't our thing.
